A community pharmacy with deep roots in Leeds
Brookside opened as a family-run high-street pharmacy. We have grown, but the people, the ethos and the same friendly welcome have not changed.
How we started
Sarah Mitchell trained as a pharmacist before settling in Leeds. She opened Brookside with a simple promise: a high-street pharmacy that treats people like neighbours, not numbers.
Today the team includes four pharmacists and six dispensing assistants, with around 12,000 patients across Leeds.
What we believe
Time, not transactions
We will spend as long as you need talking through a prescription or a worry. Never a clock-watch.
Local, accountable, and independent
We are not a chain. The pharmacist behind the counter is the pharmacist whose name is over the door.
Honest advice, every time
If we cannot help, we will tell you who can, even if that means sending you up the road to the GP.
